Gra-tea-tude

Yesterday, in the SoulBalance Mussar Tuesday check in (on our FB page) I shared how I really enjoyed the smell of my new shampoo in the shower that morning.

I invited us all to pay more attention to those small, everyday things that can, when we take it in for three deep breaths, bring gratitude and positivity to the day.

This morning, I opened up a new box of tea. Grappling and cursing the producer for wrapping it in that tricky to get off, non recyclable plastic film, once I'd won that battle and opened the lid, I was hit by that delicious smell of fresh tea.

Three.

Deep.

Breaths.

That's why they wrap it in the plastic film- to prolong the freshness and ensure maximum aroma. Ah, it's less plastic than a full on plastic box, at least it's minimum general waste for the bin.

Gratitude flowed, the tea brewed.

It's going to be a good day.
