Soul-Full Shabbat: The idea
Thank you for such a beautiful service today! It was such a warm, lovely environment and honestly was the first time in years that I've felt any sort of positive connection to my Judaism. It's exactly the sort of thing I want the children and us as a family to be a part of.
Soul-Full Shabbat offers a welcoming gathering designed for reflection, song, learning and conversation. It’s about deepening connection: with ourselves, with one another, and with the spirit of Shabbat.

Rooted in Jewish practice yet open in format, Soul-Full Shabbat brings together prayer, music, Torah and discussion in an atmosphere that’s relaxed, inclusive, and uplifting.

We will come together, in or around north Leeds, every Shabbat morning from October to December 2025 (except 8 November and 6 December).
Venue details will be shared the day before each gathering.

There will be no gender separation, and while traditional elements are part of the experience, Soul-Full Shabbat will not adhere to strict Shabbat observance (musical instruments and limited use of technology may be included).
