A personal visit to your school
I am very willing to engage openly with whatever your needs are for teaching Judaism within your school.
Perhaps you have been studying Judaism and your pupils have lots of questions? I will happily engage with any question, at a personal level, and also sharing some of the diversity of practice or belief within the Jewish world.

I can bring in artefacts from my home that we use regularly for Jewish practices and festivals, talk about them and demonstrate some of their uses.

I could host a pretend Shabbat meal, a Seder night, or focus on a Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony.

Please do contact me using the form below to tell me what you need from a visit and we can work on something together.
The Shofar
We blow the shofar (ram's horn) on Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur to mark the beginning of our new year. I can bring in a shofar and the children can experience the unique sound.
Explaining about the Torah
I can bring in a small Torah scroll (the traditional hand written text in Hebrew of the Old Testament / Five Books of Moses). Children are often fascinated to see the script and different style of holy writing.
Rituals in Prayer
I often talk about prayer practices, including the wearing of this tallit - prayer shawl - hand made by my mother to celebrate my Bat Mitzvah
Testimonials
"Anna, thankyou so much for coming in.
It was exactly what I had hoped for from the visit - you were delightful with the children, you engaged them from start to finish and really brought the Jewish faith to life for them, your love for it shone through everything you said.
I appreciated the sense that you gave the children in all your answers of the diversity of Jewish people and how different practices are between countries, communities, traditions and individuals.
Thankyou for being willing to engage openly with such a wide variety of questions at a personal level.
You have such a lovely manner with the children, thanks so much for sharing your faith with us!"
