Rent-a-(student)-Rabbi
Since 2023, I have been studying with The Academy for Jewish Religion California on their rabbinical programme. It is a hybrid course; mainly online, but also with seminars in Los Angeles. ​

I have really enjoyed visiting different communities closer to home, both online and in person, to lead services. Most recently, I was in Manchester for the High Holydays (5786) where feedback from members of the community was incredibly humbling.
I have also led ceremonies, and created Jewish sacred space to personal lifecycle moments such as weddings and circumcisions.​

In collaboration with the leadership of the community. I will prepare an engaging, accessible and meaningful service.

I can lead services with a variety of Hebrew, English and singing,
I will prepare a D'var Torah and/or sermon and I can read / chant Torah.
Weddings
If you are planning your special day and would like some "Jewish" in it, we can work together to craft something personal and beautiful.

I would be delighted to support life cycle moments using ancient and creative new Jewish rituals. These do not have to be restricted to mainstream lifecycle rituals; if you want to mark any significant moment (recovery from an illness, divorce, returning after sitting shiva, celebrating an anniversary or special birthday...) in a Jewish way , let's chat about making it happen.
